Art Events This Weekend
  • Atrium Gallery opens a new mid-winter group exhibition, “RED.” The collection of drawings and paintings explore the emotive power of the color red, as used as the dominant feature or accent.

Included will be works by Willem DeLooper, Karen Kunc, Fredrick Nelson, Kirk Pederson, Jeanine Coup Ryding, Doug Salveson, Steven Sorman, and Katy Stone.

The exhibition will open Friday February 17th with a reception from 6-8 p.m., and will run through April 14th.

The Daily X?

I’ve really been slacking on The Daily X for some weeks now, and I’d like to pick it back up, though I’m not sure when. I could sincerely use a clone right about now. I’m presently swamped with a CMS site that’s proving rather challenging, with another potential on the horizon. I’ve two major art projects happening without me that I need to get on the ball with, and three more paintings that I haven’t even started. There’s also a couple major exhibitions I’d like to get work ready for.

Art Saint Louis presents: Photographing 3-D Art with a Digital Camera Seminar

Date, Time: Saturday, February 18, 2012, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.    

Location: at Garry McMichael’s Studio, Digital Imaging & Design LLC, 1926 Allen Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63104 in Lafayette Square.

 

Class limit: 12 participants (minimum 8). Registration accepted in the order received. If we receive over 12 registrations, we will break the class in half and schedule a second seminar to be held at a later date.
