At the time of this design, I was working at the gallery as a Gallery Assistant. There was an obvious need to raise our bar somewhat, so I had developed entire protocols for the assistants to manage the flow of marketing and website management more fluidly. With this, a new design and structure was needed. Because the site had to be simple to manage by not only the director, but any of the interns that may work there, I chose to build it on WordPress. The idea is simple: present a clean, professional look that ultimately markets the exhibiting artists, as well as the multitude of other events that the gallery held.
