The passage in-between Dante’s circles of Hell? Some twisted purgatory? Or is it simply an expression of the stiff, contorted and vulnerable feelings of having to wait (as one woman suggested on Facebook)? You decide.
Loosely inspired by “Death and the Maiden”, this piece (there’s a few more to go) was created for a little magazine inclusion coming out in April. However, as of this moment I’m not entirely sure that’s going to happen. Sadly the wonderful lady that’s handling all of that has been quite ill for some time. In any case, I’ll keep working and will share updates about the mag as I get them.
“The Heart of Darkness” is a dark art collective of artists from Wisconsin unveiling their first annual show Saturday May 19th, 2012.
There will be a couple of guest artists and I’m one of them! The poster below is the first of more to come as details get lined out. This will be an incredible show and I’m honored to exhibit with such amazing artists. On the board so far is:
The collaborative piece Rich Brewer and I have been working on is complete! Now we sit with our fingers crossed and wait for response to see if it will be accepted in the show.
